Are you sure you didn’t bend any of the pins when putting the CPU into the motherboard?. Check the manual and jump the two power pins with a small screwdriver. Asus is the company that has the EZ-Connect adapters for the front panel wiring. Find the power switch pins and short them with a paper clip. If that works, shut it down, plug the power switch cable in and try the power button.
